Can Power Query flatten a PDF upon import/load?

I have a PDF fillable form and would like to eliminate a step in our process.  We currenlty have to flatten the pdf before saving into the connected folder source or Power Query imports the pdf with null values. (the same documents but flattened import fine)

is there a way to Flatten the PDF as it is being imported/loaded?

Hi @Nat88 ,

Sorry for that the information you have provided is not making the problem clear to me.

What do you mean "Flatten" ? Could you please provide more details to help us clarify your scenario?

it essentially removes the layers and "flattens them all into one".  Sorry I am not the best at explaining things.  I did a quick google search and the opening paragraph this page seems to explain the process in a fair bit of detail.

In adobe you can use the follwoing java | this.flattenPages(); |  , but only if you have adobe editor and unfortunately some of the poeple that fill out the forms I am importing into my report only have the free reader version.
