Can I reference a column in one MDX query as a parameter value in a second MDX Query

Is it possible to reference a column in  a table from one MDX query as a parameter value in a second MDX Query?

I have two data cubes that have related but unique data in them.  A Sales Programs cube that lists sales deals and what sales program was used for those deals along with other supporting measures and dimensions.  The second, the Deal Detail cube, has extensive quoting and order detail for each deal in a large number of measures and dimensions.

I need to report quote and order metrics on a new salse program so I wrote a query that looks at the Sales Programs cube and yields all the deals that used the new sales program.  It produces about 1000 records at this time.    What I would like to do is use the deal number column in the resulting table from that as a querry parameter in a second query.  Is it possible to write a query against the second cube, the Deal Details cube, with a deal number parameter that references thet deal number column in my first table?

My searches in the forum, so far, have not brought me to a scenario that is similar enough to my situation to answer this.  Any feedback or references to possible solutions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!!!

Tom G.

Could you write a Stored Procedure on the server that handles your Cubes and then simply call the stored procedure from Power Query?  Its likely much more efficient anyway?

Thanks for the idea!  I'll have to touch base with the IT folks that manage the cubes.
