Calculate difference betweeb two rows with functioning slicer

Hello Power BI community,

I am trying to get the difference between two rows of a time series data, and my raw data looks like this:

What I want to achieve is the difference between sales today and the previous day, wherein a slicer can still function if I want to slice and diced based on Customer or Account Manager. Below is the sample view:

Note that I was able to get the difference between two rows by grouping the data in power query, then creating indexes BUT I can't establish a relationship between the raw data and the summarized data, hence the slicer are not working on my visual.

Thanks for the help!

Hi @RonBee ,

I think the most appropriate approach is to create a measure using DAX.

Measure =
VAR previous_day =
    CALCULATE (
        SUM ( 'Table'[Ordered Qty] ),
        FILTER ( ALLSELECTED ( 'Table' ), 'Table'[Date] = MAX ( 'Table'[Date] ) - 1 )
    )
RETURN
    IF ( previous_day <> BLANK (), SUM ( 'Table'[Ordered Qty] ) - previous_day )

If the problem is still not resolved, please provide detailed error information or the expected result you expect. Let me know immediately, looking forward to your reply.
