Azure DevOps Testpoints Data in Power BI

Hello All,

Hello, I am currently working on a project where I need to retrieve complete test points data from Azure DevOps. I have written a function with testplanid and test suited as parameters below.

let
PointsAPICall = (TestPlanId as text,TestSuiteId as text) =>
    let
    Source =
    try
    Json.Document(Web.Contents("https://dev.azure.com/{Org}/{project}/_apis/testplan/Plans",[RelativePath= TestPlanId &"/Suites/" & TestSuiteId & "/TestPoint?api-version=6.0-preview.2"]))
    otherwise
    null
in
    Source
in
  PointsAPICall
But, I am only getting the first batch of test points.  Could you please help me pass "continuationToken" to the above code?

When I pass the continuationToken parameter, nothing is being retrieved. Please help me with this.

Thanks in advance,

Sri

Hi @Srikanth7Gunnam ,

According to this articlegenerally, REST API will have paginated response and ADO REST API normally have limits of 100 / 200 (depending which API) per page in each response. The way to retrieve next page information is to refer the response header x-ms-continuationtoken and use this for next request parameter as continuationToken.

May refer to Example With continuation token

GET https://dev.azure.com/fabrikam/fabrikam-fiber-tfvc/_apis/test/configurations?$skip=10&$top=15&continuationToken=14;12&api-version=5.0-preview.2

Hello,

Thank you so much for your response.

Do you know how to generate this x-ms-continuationtoken parameter in Power Query?
