Hi,
I am working with data that is drawn from an online source (Microsoft Dynamics 365). Somehow, the data is not automatically refreshed - neither in Power BI Desktop nor on Power BI Service. I need the data to automatically refresh in both versions whenever I click the refresh button on Power BI service so that the dashboards show the latest data. Is there any way to achieve this?
Thanks a lot in advance and best regards
gerget

@gerget,
In Power BI Service, you are able to set schedule refresh for your dataset to achieve automatically refresh. Tiles refresh updates the cache for tile visuals in dashboard once data changes, this happens about every fifteen minutes.
Have you set schedule refresh in Power BI Service? Do you get any error message in Power BI Service with schedule refresh?
In addition, it is not possible to automatically refresh data in Power BI Desktop, you have to manually click refresh button in Power BI Desktop to get updated data. There is an idea about this issue, please vote it up.

Lydia
