Analysis Services Server due to an effective user name mismatch

I'm having issues with the Power BI connector.  I am getting the effectie username mismatch.  I have verifed my effecive name is correct by using the whoami/upn.  I tried to verify with the SSMS tool using the advanced connection string but I get a logon error when I try.  I have found some articles when searching but they haven't helped.   Any suggestions on what to try next?

are your OnPremise AD and Azure AD being kept in sync?

Yes,  I had it worked but now I'm getting the error again.  I installed a new version of the connector and it caused this error.
