PostdatasetinGroup rest api for sql data

Hi team,

I'm using power bi rest api to create a dataset programmatically. 

Api: postdatasetingroup.

It is working fine with json data.

But my requirement is directly giving sql table instead of the json data. 

Is that possible 🤔

One more doubt I do have is, 

In document, request body is mentioned as

'datasources' for pushdatasetingroup

If you give solid example for this attribute with payload json data, that would be more helpful.

Hi @Syndicate_Admin 

as REST Apis take/send JSON data alone.

Any challenge in directly connecting with SQL server, if possible then you can directly get SQL data in your powerbi dataset.
