How can I connect and load data from Sopify partner website to Power BI desktop

Hi everyone,

Now, I have an account on Shopify Partnert and I can see the analytics metrics about app users. In this page, I can export my app users data in CSV file, but now, I want to connect it directly to Power BI to get more insights by analyzing app users data by my own way.

I have searched about a lot of methods like API connect but I can not load the data to Power  BI desktop! Hope that someone can suggest me some ways to connect and load the data from shopify Partner API to Power BI.

Hi, were you able to find a solution? Since there’s no direct connection to Shopify anymore, you will have to look for another way. As a workaround, maybe you can try to test your connection with a 3rd party connector. I've tried windsor.ai, supemetrics and funnel.io. I stayed with windsor because it is much cheaper so just to let you know other options. In case you wonder, to make the connection first search for the Shopify connector in the data sources list:

After that, just grant access to your Bing Ads account using your credentials, then on preview and destination page you will see a preview of your Shopify fields:

There just select the fields you need. Finally, just select PBI as your data destination and finally just copy and paste the url on PBI --> Get Data --> Web --> Paste the url.
