Hi there,
Hopefully this is the right sort of place to ask for help. I'm new to Common Data Service, is it possible to use Common Data Service as a Source (Get Data) in Excel? I know its possible in Power BI but it doesn't appear to as a Source in Excel 😞
I want to import data from Common Data Service in Excel and create a Data Model based on that. Looked at Power BI Featured Tables but do not have the necessary E5 license, only an E3.
Overall objective being that the extracted and transformed data held in Common Data Service can be used as a Source for both Excel and Power BI reports, similar to a Power BI Dataflow. Any help suggestions are appreciated.

The solution for me ending up being to use the Office Insider build version of Excel to connect to a Power BI dataset, thereby only having a single dataset thats used for both Excel pivottable reports and Power BI reports.
