October 2019 Community Highlights

October was a busy month in the community! To stay up to date with the latest community happenings, be sure to subscribe to News & Announcements! For more information about subscribing to community content, see our new support article, Subscriptions and Notifications.

October Community Events

Shoutout to all the community members that participated in our events in the last month! In case you missed it, here are the links to posts:

Triple A Events

We also hosted the first of three "Triple A" events, with our "Ask Amanda Anything" live event, with Amanda Cofsky, Senior Program Manager. Amanda gave an early 'sneak peek' of what is coming in the release one week prior to the release date. To receive an invitation to the event, all you had to do was 'kudo' the post and meeting invite was sent via PM in the community. Thanks to everyone who participated!

The next in the series of "Triple A" events is "Ask Amir Anything", with Technical Fellow Amir Netz on November 20th, 2019 at 12pm, PST. Be sure to check out Exclusive LIVE Community Event #2 - Ask Amir Anything to reserve your spot!

New Badges

Anniversary badges were launched in October as well. We first told you they were coming in the September Highlights, and gave a bit more info in Incoming: New and Improved Badges!'. While you may have received multiple notifications on the same day for the initial rollout, moving forward you will receive your anniversary badge on your actual community anniversary date. We are so excited to bring you brand new badges, specifically rewarding the length of time you've been a community member! We have grown exponentially over the years, and owe all our success to YOU, our community members! But we aren't done! In the coming weeks we will be rolling out more new badges based on community contributions! There is a possibility that you could earn badges based on past community contributions, and you will get notifications for each of these badges, rest assured, this is intended! For example, if you have earned 73 kudos, you will get a notification when the '25th Kudo Received' badge is rolled out, and again when the '50th Kudo Badge' is rolled out.

Hi @BrandyG_iTalent ,

Thanks for the summing all the cool updates here.

The New tool bar editor is cool, but I've some feedback, I often use the code editor,so for me its a pain each and every time i need to click the expand button to expand the other menus. This is not only for Code menu, often used menu like Insert hyperlink,Insert image are in the second row which is bydefault hidden.

My Feedback is instead of having a expanding menu and finding the relevant menus, could you please show the entire menu by default with the tow rows.

Thanks !

Jay
