URL Images not showing on ipad

I am using the custom visual 'Image Viewer', which works fine in pulling images from URL's into PowerBi Desktop, and also shows fine in published reports online.

However, when i attempt to view these reports through my iPad (using the app or safari browser), the images do not appear at all.

Any ideas why?

HI @as19m,

Where are your images stored? Did they contain any redirection or authorization when power bi access to these resources?
I'd like to suggest to test with the root path of image file to confirm if your scenario is same as I mentioned.

Hi,

The images are on onedrive and open to anyone with the URL.

They open fine on Bi Desktop/Online Report, just not on safari web, making it unusable on iPad.

Thanks,

AS

Hi @as19,

In fact, I'd like to suggest you test with a root image file (share with direct file path) on the mobile app to confirm if this issue is related to verify or redirection issue. (onedrive/sharepoint share files also contain verify request that may redirect access requests)

For example:

www.xxxxx.com/xxxxx.png

In addition, you can also contact to mobile team to confirm if this related to new version mobile app compatibility issues.
