PowerBI Mobile App - Data Gateway for direct query

Hi, 

I have a report built with direct query datasources (connected to a SQL server). I published it to my workspace in powerbi.com, and works perfectly with the data gateway in the computer. 

However I need to access the data through the phone. In the mobile pbi app, I can access the report when the computer is connected to the network (SQL access through network/VPN). But not when the computer is offline (or not in the right network)

Is there a way I can access the report from the phone without having the computer running?

Hi @Anonymous,

I think this should more relate to your gateway setting, you can enable the proxy option on your gateway to access internal Datasource: Configure proxy settings for the on-premises data gateway 
After these steps, you can use mobile device to view these contents which host in a private network.

Notice: gateway does not require to install on the device which host the database, you can install in a device at the same domain or device that enables the proxy setting to access to a specific data source.
