Need to remove "count of"

I'm trying to create a very simple graph from data pulled in from Excel (in Power BI app). I have created the graph before, but now for whatever reason I am getting the following "Count of" or "Count (distinct)" as my only options which is not what I want to depict in the graph.

Usually I can select from "Sum", "Average" etc, but not for this data.

Any suggestions?

Using the online PowerBI version, you may add a text box on top of the "count of .... " text.

Check the column's data type. It is clearly not a numeric type.

I have it formatted as Accounting, which is what I have used previously with no issue.

No you don't. "Accounting" is not a data type in Power BI. The Excel file doesn't matter. Check the data type in Power BI.

How would I do that?

Check the Modeling tab in the ribbon and look at the data type there. Or check the data type of the column in the query editor.

I don't have a ribbon...I'm working in the online version.

Use the desktop app.

Unfortunately I'm a beginner and I can't figure out what I'm doing.

It's not supported to change the aggregation type in Power BI Service (the online version Power BI that you are accessing via Power BI Mobile. You have to edit aggregation type in Power BI Desktop, then publish it onto Power BI Service.
