Mobile view disappears everytime I make a change in the Desktop version

Hi everyone,

Is it a bug or is it a feature? Am I doing something wrong?

I edit the mobile view and save it; perfect. Then I make a small change to one of the visuals in my Desktop version. I click on 'Publish', click 'Ok' when 'are you sure you want to replace the dataset', and the new version is now present in the web version.

However, the mobile version is now completely blank. I have to drag and drop every title, visual, and table and save everything from scratch for it to work.

Help, please.

Alice

 HI @AliceW,

Mobile report view not a independence part of power bi service side, it also existed in power bi report.

It seems like you replace the phone view effect when you do small change on desktop side and publish to replace existed service file.

Your steps:
1. Design a phone view on power bi service side and save change.(exist designed phone view)
2. Make some change on desktop side and publish report(contains blank phone view) to replace service file.(phone view has been replaced to blank)
3. Open 'phone view' on service side and you'll see blank effects.

In my opinion, I'd like to suggest your create phone view on original report and publish to power bi service.

Create reports optimized for the Power BI phone apps
