Mobile app barcode scanner does not filter report

Hi, I am having an issue using OnePlus 7 pro to filter the report using barcode scanner.

It tells me that:

Couldn't filter report - Looks like this barcode doesn't exist in the report data:

Where clearly it does exist. Furthermore, if I try scanning from the Home-> camera icon, it sends me to the correct report, but still the error persists and I get the message, and the report is not fully filtered. I am attaching a screenshot to show you that the barcode exists. The data type is set to Number/Don't summerize/Barcode.

Does anyone have a solution to this issue? Is it the phone, the PowerBI bug, or am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

Hi @AKP_Nohara,

I was unable to reproduce this issue

What is the barcode format you are using?

Can you please share PBIX so we will be able to investigate the root cause?

Thanks,

Michal

Here is a link to a test file I made:

Hi @AKP_Nohara,

EAN8 is supported so that should not be the problem.
I have used your test file and it works fine and the barcode was filter correctly.

Do you expireances the same issue with the test file as well?

Thanks,

Michal

Hi @michalfoster , thanks for your test!

The format is EAN-8. Do you know if the control number (last digit) is needed for the numerical value? Perhaps the codes in the database should be 7 digits long, instead of 8?

Unfortunately, I cannot share the pbix due to confidentiality constraints.
