I have assigned a PowerBI pro license to someone outside of our organization and given them access to a PowerBI report within our organizations PowerBI. However, when they sign-in to the PowerBI Mobile app on Android, it still says they are a free user. In addition, they cannot see or access any of the reports shared with them. Are there any other settings in PowerBI I need to turn on to enable them to access the reports from the mobile app?
Hi
The report was shared with them?
Can you verify B2B scenario here:
https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/power-bi-mobile-apps-now-support-azure-ad-b2b-guest-users/
As they must use the invite link from the mail, or using CTID
Thanks
Yariv
Yes, the report was shared with them using the link. They receive an alert that says "switching sites", then "can't open link"
Thanks
Can you please provide more details:
- Device type
- OS Version
- Power BI Version
- Verify same scenario on the web
- Make sure they accepted the invite over email

hi @Anonymous
you said that they can access the report through the web
can they try and access the report from a chrome browser from their device?
(for example when uninstalling the app)
also, which user are they using? an (external) corp user?
