How to export a report from Power BI App to Excel

how to export a report from Power BI App to Excel ?

When I log on to Power BI desktop there is the option to Analyse in Excel - this is OK.
When I log onto the POWER BI on https://app.powerbi.com I can also analyse in excel - this is OK.

But when I share a report to a User and they log into the Power BI APP I cannot see the option to analyse in Excel. I presume you can. I Have office 365 on the laptop. How can I achieve this ?

Hi

How can I download to excel from Power BI App. I have no problems from Power BI Desktop or logging into Power BI site to download to Excel  by going to Analyse in Excel. 

However I have shared a report with a power BI user. They have the Power BI App downloaded only on their Laptop. I cannot find the Analyse in Excel on the Report. Is it possible through the Power BI App?

Hey Michael,

The mobile app does not allow exporting to excel. This currently be done only in Desktop and Web.

Hi Maya, 

so this means we cannot extract to excel from power BI in iPad, correct? 

is there any button that we can use that directing us to webbrowser or safari from the app, so we can extract it without log in again in the browser?
