Hide the visual header in reading view - ipad app still shows visual header

I enabled the report setting option to "Hide the visual header in reading view".  Within the Power BI service (in a browser), the app successfully suppresses the visual header.  However, when viewing the app reports on an ipad via the Power BI app, the visual header still appears.  An outline of the header even appears for images that should not show a header at all.  Is this a bug in the ipad Power BI app?

Did you get this solved in the end? I have the same issue, it is pretty annoying on the ipad to see all the boxes and cannot see a way to get rid of them. You could opt for an transparent overlay but that is a bit cumbersome and also not feasible for selection buttons.

Any update on this issue? At the very least, I'd like to get an estimation on when this will be solved.

Thanks

Hi @shietpas,

What type of visuals and power bi mobile app version you test? Did this issue appears on other IOS devices?

It is all visuals, buttons, images,, etc.

It is on both the iPhone and IPad.

The iPhone App version is 16.2 (1.2.180717.113111)

The iPad App version is 15.9 (1.2.180614.113068)

Ideally we would like to have the visual header with the options (e.g. focus mode, export data) available for the same report in the browser/power bi service, but most users are using the mobile app on devices, so it is more important that we can remove these visual header outline boxes on the iPad or iPhone.  That is why we disabled the visual header, but it still had the same outline on those devices.

HI @shietpas,

I don't think this is a issue, hide visual header feature seems remove visual header panel and use white panel to instead.
It not means power bi will auto stretch your visual to fill white part.
