Hey,
We're experimenting a bit with the Power BI for Mixed Reality app, but the scanning of QR-codes doesn't seem to work.
I've published a report to My Workspace on PowerBI.com and created a QR-code for it. When I scan the code in the Power BI app on my Android phone it works. But when I gaze at the same QR-code in Holographic view-mode on the HoloLens nothing happens.
In the classic view I can see the report on the HoloLens, and I can also pin it to Holograpic view, but I would really like to use the QR-option.
Any ideas?
Christian
Thanks for your responses!
The QR-code feature was mentioned in the anouncement of the App on the Power BI blog here
We tried printing the QR-code on A4 paper, but still no success.
Hey Christian,
Were you in holographic mode while gazing at the QR?
Thanks Maya
Yes, we tried to scan the QR-code in both the holograpic mode and the classic view mode.
When in holographic mode I can view the reports I've pinned, so everything seems to work fine, except for the QR-code.
Hi @ChristianH,
Current I don't have device to test, but I guess this feature not really released to hololens device.
Maybe you can contact to mobile team to confirm this feature.

Xiaoxin Sheng
Hey,
The QR feature is part of the Mixed Reality app released.
Gazing on a QR on a monitor/screen might be difficult becuase of reflections. Try to print the QR code (make sure it is big enough 8X8 cm) and then scan it.
Thanks Maya
