ADFS + custom authentication as an alternative for SSRS + custom authentification

Hello everybody.
there are no plans currently for SSRS + custom authentification for mobile apps
Custom Authentication in Reporting Services for mobile apps
but there is a support for adfs in mobile apps - it looks like pretty much the same result if we implement 
Build a Custom Authentication Method for AD FS in Windows Server 2012 R2
any thoughts about this?

You can enable form authentication on ADFS server. See a similar thread below:
