unnamed user in usage metrics

hi all,

since the first of Sept 2018 we changed some settings like the Creation of Workspaces, publishing reports to the web and some others (Admin portal>Tenant settings) by enabling this to specific security groups. This allows us as admins to have more control over some functionalities.

What is strange is is the fact that since then we see "unnamed users" in our Usage metrics instead of the names of the users.

My guess is that it has nothing to do with the changes we made, but the question remains what needs to be done to solve this.

Already received (and checked) some possible solutions by Jimmy Tao (community support team) but unfortunately it is not helping.

thnx

M

Hi @emveha,

The issue has been reported internally before: CRI 73537311. Please ensure you have set per-user data setting for entire organization. You can see it from this article

By default, per-user data is enabled for usage metrics, and content creator account information is included in the metrics report. If you don’t want to include this information for some or all users, disable the feature for specified security groups or for an entire organization. Account information will then show in the report as Unnamed.
