"Linked entities cannot be modified" and loosing all the data

When saving the dataflow, the "Linked entities cannot be modified" notification shows up- which is understandable, but after clicking OK to go back and correct the error, the dataflow crashes and cannot be opened, therefore all the unsaved steps are lost.

And even there are no labels for bugs and errors. Just terrible. I'm choosing the random one.

May I know your exact concern? 

Based on my test, after we modify the linked entity and save the change, below message pops out: 

Click on OK, when we reopen the linked entity, it will prompt below message: 

We can click on No, then we can edit other entities within this same dataflow again and save changes.
