latest version of powerBI desktop doesnt run in window server 2008 R2 standard

Hi, 

I need help or advise on why the error comes out after the installation of powerBI desktop is complete. 

I try to open the PowerBI desktop and this error comes out. 

Any idea will be appretitate.

According to my research, the minimum requirements to run Power BI Desktop Windows Server 2012 R2, or later. You can check this:

And Microsoft recommends we using a client version of Windows such as Windows 10, rather than Windows Server.

Therefore, I think installing the official windows 10 system for your computer can be the best way to solve this problem.

Simply uninstall and reinstall from the previous installer. Unfortunatly i do not know if you can download old installers but i am used to keep the last 2-3 previous installers until the next update...
