incorrect syntax near '(' the exception was raised by the IDbcommand interface

Hi,

I am using SSAS with power bi, in direct query mode

Using a line chart, pulling 3 different columns from the same table, and using 4th column again from the same table as a slicer.

When trying to apply a filter getting the message "incorrect syntax near '(' the exception was raised by the IDbcommand interface"

I tried pulling all the 4 columns into a table visual and it worked fine.

Also, i tried using the "Import" mode and that too worked fine.

Not sure, what the exact issue. Please help.

Hi @SwaroopRoyM,

I'm not able to reproduce the issue on my side. Please update the Power BI desktop to the latest version 2.56.5023.1021 64-bit (March 2018) then test again.
