Subsciption not sending out automatically

Hi,   I just had an unusual issue: I have various subscriptions that go out every morning at 7am, they all feed from the same database. For some reason one of them did not go out automatically this morning. I did check the specs of the subscription and it was ON as well as it had the end date set up to Nov '23, so no reason to think this might caused an issue. Also this same subscription worked fine yesterday and everyday before that.  Finally I did trigger it manually and it eventually worked. Matrix Column Width

The Power BI client -> matrix. In case no rows, only columns and more important more than one value, you can't change the column width. It works when you have only one value. As well, workaround with "Switch values to rows" doesn't match client's needs. Is it a bug or I miss something? I haven't found any information about this behaviour in specifications. ... View more

It's by design . When you add the rows, you can see that there is an extra row name in front of the column name, so you can change the column width.

If you do want to change the column width without adding rows, you can vote the idea and comment there

Keep Columns on the Exported Tables (Summarized data) in new Export 2023

Dear All;   I’m very happy to contact you; first to congratulate you on the very powerful new features in “Power BI Export”, which we become able to export any filtered table from any report then the excel will be linked to the original report and user can refresh any time the exported excel. This features was a dream for me and if someone asked me what is the best features since I started working on Power BI  I will not hesitate to reply that this is the best new features over my 5 years developing on Power BI. But the single imperfect in this feature is that the exported table takes the original (Technical) name of column instead to the names of columns added by us for user to make things clear for them. Please Keep the name in visualization as is like the old export. Like the table 1 below from the Report (Columns names updated on the report) but the Table 2 is from the excel which is linked to The Report (which is very powerful) but unfortunately the columns names are the original name which query name which some time are very long and very technical. Editing Embedded Report Showing Unpinned Visual Types

Hi, I am unpinning some of the default visual types from the side menu in power bi desktop because I dont want my users to be able to see them.   This stops them from showing in the power bi service when a users goes and edits a report. However when using power bi embedded and editing the report through our applicaiton those visual types are still appearing.     This is not the expected behaviour, please could it be looked into? ... As mentioned in the article, the URL filters is not supported when exporting to PDF currently. Also, based on my research, I have found other considerations that URL filters are supported in some embedding scenarios and not in others:

So if you want to use filter to export, maybe you could filter in the report in advance then export to pdf instead of using URL filters.

Bug Report - Visual Properties Adjustment (PBI Version Feb. 23)

Hi team,  I noticed a bug in Feb. 2023 version of PBI Desktop - for example, I want to change a visual width from 240 to 250, so I highlight "40", and type in "50". Instead of changing just the 2 digits highlighted, PBI automatically erase all 3 digits, and I end up with width = "50", instead of "250".  This bug is new in Feb. 2023. Issue with Sharepoint.Contents and Power Query

Hello,   I am having issues combining binaries from a Sharepoint folder using Sharepoint.Contents. The issue came up a few weeks ago.   Details of the bug:   I found that using = Sharepoint.Contents fails in this way with ApiVersion = 15 but works OK with version 14.   When trying to combine the binaries an error message appears despite the binaries being the supported types (excel workbooks in this case)   "Combine Files We didn't recognize the format of your first file (companyname.sharepoint.com). Please filter the list of files so it contains only supported types (Text, CSV, Excel Workbooks, etc.) and try again."   ..   Version 15 for some reason best know to the people who changed it and broke the function is that the Documents Folder name now shows in The Content table as Shard Documents rather than Documents which is the correct folder name for me on a brand new site   More details from others have the same issue can be found here: Using PowerQuery to import files from a SharePoint folder- file format - Microsoft Community   Thanks,     ... Hi,   I have a PowerBI report in a premium workspace embedded onto a Sharepoint O365 page. I have persistent filters turned off, so when i make changes on a filter in my report in the PowerBI service, the filters are saved and I can continue where I left off if I were to return to that page. However, filters do not seem to be saved on the Sharepoint version. When looking at the refresh history of a dataset that is currently processing there should be a button in the pop-up screen that allows you to refresh the status from here. Currently, you have to exit and then click back into the history. This is quite annoying. ... View more

Dataflow removed column breaks the dataset refresh

When an unused column has been removed from a dataflow this causes a huge trickle-down effect.  The reports connected to the dataflow then fail to refresh. In my case the column removed was not referenced in the model at all. This should not be an issue if the column is not used or referenced in the model. I got below information: 

 

This is by design. The customer needs to republish if they are editing the model.

Even if you didn't reference the deleted column in the past, your model changed when you deleted the column, so you need to reorder it.
