From the error message "Scheduled refresh is disabled because at least one data source is missing credentials." , it seems the credentials of the data source is incorrect , you need to judge the credentials in Manage gateways or in Data source credentials .

Hi @Idriz11 ,

 

Have you made changes in the data source, such as changing column names, or deleting columns, or anything like that? Since the error message indicates that the column "legacyHash" does not exist, I think you need to check if there is an error in this column.

 

Or you can try to re-upload the dataset and configure the refresh.

Hi,   Since a couple of weeks i have a strange thind. My automatic refresh shuts off without a sign, if i trigger it manually it doesn't refresh i get a error. If i refresh it with my desktop version it works fine.   Any suggestions ? Thx! ... View more

What's your problem? You can't configure "schedule refresh"? What is your data source? Be aware that not all data uses scheduled refreshes.

Error -2147467259 Failed to enable constraints via gateway, fine in desktop

I have a report which I've published to the cloud. Got the gateway set up, everything seemed to be working and managed to refresh a couple of times. Unfortunately, I can no longer refresh the report in the Cloud due to the error: 'Failed to enable constraints. One or more rows contain values violating non-null, unique, or foreign-key constraints.'   I am perfectly able to refresh the report in the desktop from the same data sources and I have double checked the original data source and the only field on the one side of a one to many relationship is perfectly unique. The data source is an AWS MySQL server for which a gateway is set up and working (I can refresh other models from the same source).   I do not understand why this issue occurs and why it occurs only in the cloud and not in my desktop, any help would be greatly appreciated. Please correct me if I wrongly your issue .

Your data source is MySQL server and it is hosted on AWS . You created a report in Desktop and you can refresh data successfully in Desktop . Then you published the report to Service and refreshed the report in Service , but it failed , right ?

In this case , can you make sure that the gateway can connect to your data source successfully ?  As we all know , that the Desktop can refresh data without gateway , but Service is not . If it is possible , can you explain what did you do to refresh on the Service?

Cannot change Incremental refresh setting on my dataflow.  - Store rows from the past: 6 month  - Refresh rows from the past: 1 day   Until a few days ago, the dataflow update was working normally, but from a few days ago, the incremental update started to work for 6 months, and it took a long time to update. Dataflow failed to refresh

If you don't use Power BI Premium, all your dataflow will use resource shared with others. Because your issue is intermittent. I assume it is caused by resource contention.

I have found a similar issue. Would you please try to use the workaround:  setting the schedule to half an hour or an hour later than the current time (not more than that).

The "Submit an issue" link in Power BI Service should lead directly to the "Issues" forum. It currently points to the community and makes it not necessarily easy to to post in the right section. Don't get me wrong, I love this community and you need to keep it open and easy to use for all. So please, don't make it complicated to create an issue when you actually have a button on Power BI Service that is suposed to make that easy...  More frustrating and prone to discourage users from posting their issues. ... The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error

Hello, as of a couple days ago I now get errors when trying to refresh my dataset.  No problems were reported with data gateway but I have updated that to latest as part of trying to troubleshoot this.   Here is the error received when trying to refresh dataset from web portal:   The last refresh attempt failed because of an internal service error. This is usually a transient issue. If you try again later and still see this message, contact support. Please try again later or contact support. What’s the data source and connection mode of your report? If you refresh by on-demand refresh, will you see the failure as well? If you download the pbix file from the report dataset and refresh from Power BI Desktop, will you refresh successfully? If you check in Power Query Editor(Transform data), will you see any warning or error?

There are other users who have encountered similar problems and we have reported the relevant ICM, the id is 332314119, I'll be back with an update if there's any progress .

 

At the same time, the workaround is : Open Teams in Firefox and then create a new Power BI Tab.

May I know whether this issue still exist? If you edit your dataflow, will you see any warning or error in its applied steps section? And if your refresh from the edit mode, will you see any further error message? Recently, did you make any change to this dataflow?

Hi Team,   I'm trying to combine two different datasources locally on the PBI Desktop and publish to the PBI Service and receiving the error below.   My two datasources are 1. A PBI report that connects to excel file from a shared one drive location 2. PBI dataset that is available in the PBI Service through Direct Query   Locally the report renders the data as expected. One of your data source is in your shared one drive location , which connector did you use to connect to the excel in Desktop ? Even though another data source is Power BI dataset , you also need configure credentials in Data source credentials in Service .

For blocks of hours at a time, we are getting the error "The credentials provided for the CommonDataService source are invalid" for a web service refresh. Two reports use the same connection, sometimes one works fine for hours while the other fails every run - it's really odd. I've tried switching the refresh to use an enterprise gateway - if anything less reliable.  The gateway's data source entry tests ok.   I suspect it's a total red herring - it's typically an hour or more into the refresh, so if there was an actual credentials issue it should've failed immediately.  ... May I know if this issue is transient or continuous? If you refresh your dataset by on-demand refresh, will you see it refresh successfully? Did you schedule the refresh of these two datasets adjacent? If you stagger the refresh times, will there be fewer refresh failures?
