Why can't I login to Power BI Service/Desktop?  On Desktop, I receive the error:

AADSTS500014: Resource https://analysis.windows.net/powerbi/api is disabled.

You are likely encountering an issue on the Awareness.

@v-chuncz-msft, I don't think that my issue is described by your Awareness.  First Awareness affects "customers who attempt to access Apps that rely on a shared Dataset", but my issue occurs without opening any file or connecting to any data.  Second Awareness is "signing in to the Power BI service", but my issue is signing into Power BI Desktop.

 

The first Awareness instructs to follow the steps at a workaround.  Since I'm not using a remote machine, should I follow the same steps?  Thanks.

Hi 

I have the same issue here with user@domain.onmicrosoft.com

user is registered and has a power bi licence in admin porta. 

Password was already changed. 

Login is not possible on https://powerbi.microsoft.com/

nor in Power BI Desktop where I get 

AADSTS500014: Resource https://analysis.windows.net/powerbi/api is disabled.

this is a new user never used Power BI before.
