enhanced metadata option ticked, but no upgrade of a pbix file as seen with tabular editor - why ?

Hi, 

I have activated the "enhanced metadata format" on pbi desktop march version and restarted pbi desktop.
Then I opened a pbix file with big model and had the massage that the red bar message at the top proposing to click on button to upgrade. Did it. Report refreshed correctly. I saved the pbix and reopened again. Thought I was in the new format.

Anyway, with latest version of Tabular Editor I still have the popup message the model is not yet in v3 of metadata.

It looks like the metadata was not upgraded. 

Is the "enhanced metadata" option not working with my model ? Why ?

I cannot reproduce the issue. Take a look at Considerations and limitations and create a support ticket for assistance if necessary.
