Word Wrap doesn't work online

I am using word wrap in a "card" visual. It works fine in the report in the desktop app, but doesn't work online (cuts off text).

I even cannot get this function work in Apr 2017 version of Power BI Desktop. I've reported it internally to Power BI Team: CRI 35538323
I'll post here once I get any update about it.

I've got response from the Product Team that word wrap never worked for solid strings, it only breaks at whitespace characters. I tested again on my side and can get the expected result both in PBI Desktop and Service as below.

If there are solid strings in the card visual, when word wrap is on, the word is truncated more aggressively, is this you are complaining about? ex. word wrap off, "LargeTitleText", but when wordWrap on, "LargeTi..."

I still have this issue. In desktop, it breaks at a whitespace character, but online it does not. Thanks.

I tested again but still cannot repro on my side. Please refer to the screenshot below, the word wrap works well in Power BI Service. Have you tired to resize the card visual to see if it can solve your problem?
