What happened with Power BI integration with PowerPoint?

Hi dear Power BI community!

On the release plan, it was visible until some days ago some information about the integration with PowerPoint on this link -> https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform-release-plan/2021wave2/power-bi/power-bi-integration...

Now the link is always redirecting to the general release plan https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform-release-plan/2021wave2/power-bi/planned-features where PowerPoint integration is not visible anymore.

What happened? Did you give up on the idea? In our company, we were really excited about this one.

The 2021 release wave 2 plan was updated on March 2, 2022, and the features you need may be removed. Maybe you can look at the 2022 release wave 1 plan, which may have what you want. If not, you can make suggestions to Ideas.

I would also like to understand why this was removed and if there is any plan to add it back in. This is a feature our users have been clamoring for and I have been assuring them it is coming. Now it is gone with no explanation. Very disappointing.

This is a critical feature. And this issue is not addressed yet. It is definitely NOT "Delivered". Please reopen ASAP.

Agree, its definately been removed without any explanation and is not penciled in for any future releases. Would be nice to get some notice or reason why when features are removed.

Any news on the topic? the feature is still not available after the may update, but on the release plan (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform-release-plan/2022wave1/power-bi/planned-features) it still is says public feature available in may? 
My company as well is waiting for this feature for a long time now. It is being promoted for a while and has always been delayed. I don´t expect an public explanation, but why promote something few weeks prior and then not delivering it...
