WebView crashes in authorization popups

I'm trying to connect to a Azure Data Explorer (Kusto) source on a completely fresh install. You can try this for https://help.kusto.windows.net/ but I've had the same problem with our production data source as well.

When I click on sign-in a popup shortly flashes and closes again. Then it just reads: "We're unable to connect. Please delete your credentials and try again later."

In the trace I've found the following Exception:

I've validated this problem on 3 different machines with the most current May 2022 version. I can also send you the full Diagnostic Information Dump, but I can't upload it here...

This is aknown issue and we are investigating. Please use this workaround for now: 

 

Power BI Desktop customers may experience authentication issues attempting to connect to data source using AAD and may see the following error message "We're unable to connect. Please delete your credentials and try again later". As a workaround customers can go to Power BI Desktop and enable Options -> Security -> Authentication Browser -> “Use my default web browser”. Engineers are investigating the issue and an update will be provided soon.

It's a known issue  , the ID is 311894322 .  You can first solve your problem according to the solution provided by @AlexGorev . I'll be back with an update if this issue develops .

@AlexGorev after I logged in I got no feedback that anything happend in the dialog, but when I click on connect it worked perfectly, thank you very much!

I am also seeing this problem with an OAuth connector with Oct 2021 and Nov 2021 versions of Power BI.
