Visual Padding

Hello,

Not sure if from new October 2021 release but...

The inner padding of visuals has changed and I can't seem to find a way to rectify it... the chart goes right up to the border...

Making the legend (which I remember coming on by default and now not...?) go right up to the edge of the chart which is unsightly...

This padding is fine, but I would like the option to adjust it, especially when I spend so much time aligning and sizing visuals on my reports...

Hi,

In my opinion, I still can not determine this as an existing issue in the Power BI, I suggest you to open a support ticket to ask for the opinions of the technical support team of Microsoft.

Hi,

Unfortunately, I can’t reproduce the same test environment as yours.

It will be very helpful if you can post downlaod link of the pbix file without sensitive data that can explain this issue in detail to us.

Hi,

I clicked on your link but I found that I don’t have access to your pbix file. I think you can take a look.

Thank you very much!

Hi,

As far as I’m concerned, it is based on the Legend position setting of your visual, if you change the legend position of your visual to “Left”, you can avoid this kind of problem:

I don't find that a very satisfactory response.

It doesn't appear to be fixed in the new November update:

Not sure if this is related, but ...  I customised the padding on all my visuals, only to find that after someone else edited and saved the PBIX (without touching the padding settings), all that customisation had been lost and padding values were reset to their originals. This has happened twice now, so I stopped re-doing it until I know it can be preserved.
