@Anonymous ,

Do you connect to Excel file in Power BI Service? If so, I am unable to reproduce this issue on my side. Could you please share the Excel file so that I can test?

In addition, you can connect to Excel file in Power BI Desktop, create report there and publish Power BI Desktop report to Power  BI Service.
