Hi,
A report I created two years ago fails to open in Power BI Desktop. I tried both the archived .pbix file and also downloading a report from Power BI service to .pbix and opening it. In both cases Power BI Desktop will not open a file - shows "failed to update the linguistic schema" error

Hi @micham ,
We see that you are using the March 2022 version of Power BI Desktop, does this problem occur if you update to the latest version?
Have you tried clearing the cache of Power BI Desktop?
Best Regards,
