Unable to open pbix file downloaded from service(app.powerbi.com) using latest OCT2020 Desktopversio

Hi,

I am unable to open the PBIX downloaded from app.powerbi.com using latest POWERBI DESKTOP version(OCT 2020). 

Please let me know if anyone faced similar problem and has resolution for same.

Hope Microsoft POWER BI team working on fixing these bugs ?

when tried to open by installing prev version i.e., SEPTEMBER 2020 version received below error

It works well on our side, and I asked for my colleagues and they couldn't find a similar issue in our side.

if you could open the pbix file that is not download from power bi service?

Could you share a simple sample pbix file for us have a test, I think it maybe something wrong in your PC.

you may raise a support ticket to get further help from power bi support team.

The PBIX that i used to publish to service before latest relased of OCT2020.I am anle to open that PBIX.

If i open the PBIX newly downloaded from service I am unable to open. I cannot share the PBIX as it has lots of data. 

Please let me know if any logs or trace file that I can share.

Hi ,

I had installed new version and still issue not resolved.

Unable to open PBIX file downloaded from service. 

Also pevious PBIX file if I try to open also it opens moment I click on expand filter pane it stops and abnormally file closes.

POWERBI service issues also still exists:

none of the POWERBI dashboard functionality working on service
