Unable to edit queries on a table with geometry column from PostgrSQL database

I have a table with a geometry column in PostgreSQL database. Whne I try importing the table into Power BI, the below mentioned erro is thrown. I am also unable to edit queries on the table.

Would you please share DDL so we can try to create a table with some data on Postgresql side to test the issue? 

By the way, please try to run the latest Power BI desktop version.

Hi there,

I have been having the same trouble with loading up a table (inc. geometry) from a PostgreSQL database and unable to edit the query to omit columns. 

I have overcome this by disabling "Allow data preview to download in the background" and Loading the table into PowerBI. Then delete your geometry data under the fields navigator or using the following: 

= Table.RemoveColumns(**INSERT TABLE NAME",{"**INSERT COLUMN NAME**"})
