TreeMap visual and Custom Theme

I'm having problems with the treemap visual. It seems to sometimes ignore the custom theme that's been imported. This is really annoying and makes reports look inconsistent and less professional.

@j0hnnyw1nter ,

What is your Power BI Desktop version? How do you create the Treemap visual? Do you use built-in report themes or your custom theme?

Hi

Version: 2.67.5404.581 64-bit (March 2019)

It's a custom theme.

Problem seems to be when the data series has more than 8 categories (my custom theme has 8 designated colours). Rather than use a more/less saturated version of the colours available in the theme palette.

See below, when I hit the 9th data series, it drops out to PBI's default palette

@Anonymous ,

Would you please share the JSON file of report theme?

Regards,
Lydia

Is there a way for me to attach the file?!? I've copied the contents of the JSON file above
