Training Notifications based on profile

I keep getting notifications for free training, which would be great except they are all in in the Rockville, MD/Fairfax, VA area while I am in Woodland Hills, CA.

Is there any way to have these notifications linked to my user profile instead of whatever method is currently being used?

Barring that, how can I find similar Power BI training opportunities in the LA area?

Thanks,

Duncan

Hi @duncfair,

You can go through this article to find the proper training: https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/powerbi-webinars/

Also you can join the EDX course: https://www.edx.org/course/analyzing-visualizing-data-power-bi-microsoft-dat207x-7

Hi Qiuyun, I appreciate that, but it doesn't really address my issue. I am getting notifications about IN-PERSON training that are on the other side of the country. I want notifications about local IN-PERSON training, not webinars. I am guessing that the notifications I currently receive are based on the location of a corporate account or corporate proxy; what I am proposing is that I receive notifications based on location data from my profile instead. Thanks, Duncan

Hi @duncfair,

In fact, we are providing the support about technical issue. I have to say, we are not able to provide more about this issue.

Regarding the training issue, maybe you can contact the senders who send you that email.

Except you're not addressing the issue. Nobody is sending me an email. I am getting notifications in the Power BI notification center about training. Microsoft is allowing partners to send Power BI notifications regarding training that are geographically inappropriate.

Here is an example from today.
