Time is not working as Slider in Slicer

Hi Everyone ,

Time format is not working as slider in slicer , it showing only list and drop down.

Actually i am getting drop down and list format correctly but when i select slider it showing time to date format. help me if any one gets idea.

Actual format  :

Need like this  :  

if i am selecting as slider it showing date format . anyone has idea about this please let me know .

PG team already filed a bug to actively block this – you shouldn't be able to use that slicer type with a time field.

I just had this issue and discovered that you have to go into Modeling and make sure the Data type is Date and you should get more options in the dropdown and choose 'between'
