Time-Intelligence Functions Are not Working, they default to 8HRS. Ahead of actual time.

When I use time intelligence functions in the application as seen below it doesn't reflect the same as in the Service. It really sucks when my model is dependent on the Today or NOW function.... Any ideas? Is this a Bug? Is there an solution?

This is a known gap, the time zone in the service is effectively always set to UTC. You can adjust the DAX formula in PBI Desktop as a workaround.

For example: Now = NOW() – 8/24
