Taking Over Dataflow Creates Corrupted New Connections (Destructive & Uneditable)

The option to "Take Over" a dataflow is very useful and needed. However, recent use of it has shown potentially to have destructive breakages.

 

A normal dataflow would look like this:

However, after several Take Overs, and re-editing credentials. The dataflow has inexplicably applied a new connection against each entity in the dataflow. The connection is a text string to the Dataverse, used to importing data via XRM Toolbox. The Bug appears to be writing a new connection for each entity using the Dyn365CEBaseURL parameter in PowerBI, then affixing the name of the entity. This shouldn't happen.

 

Worse still, when you try to go to "Edit Credentials", y

Worse still, when you try to "Edit Credentials" you either get an ominous error -

Or simply, you are no longer given to OAuth2 option to connect to org credentials - effectively, rendering it completely inaccessible and broken
