Hi.
One really frustrating feature of PowerBI is the default behaviour of numerical data in tables. When I add a numerical column it automatically defaults to aggregating it as a sum. Most of the time when I build tables in PowerBI I am doing so to make an interactive table visual of the raw data - if I want to aggregate I use a Matrix. So this behaviour is particularly frustrating when it also means rows will be hidden when no numerical data exists for a certain 'group'. It means I have to find all the 'Sum' columns and change them to Don't Summarize.
Don't Summarize should be the default behaviour, otherwise PowerBI is assuming the operation we want to do which just feels anti-user friendly since it doesn't inform us that it's doing this. In my case the consequences of this behaviour can have a serious impact on the work my company is doing.
Does Microsoft have any plans to change this or will they take this into account?
