Streaming dataset returns to old table when turning on/off history

When turing off/on the retain history flag on the streaming dataset, the table name returns to an old table name.  The Streaming dataset is created via an event hub / streaming job.

When this happens, the reports built on the dataset error and become unuseable.

To recreate,

1. create a streaming dataset with name dataset1, datasettable1 (via eventhub/streaming job output), create report.

2. change the table name to datasettable2, start stop etc the streaming job, recreate the report on new table.

3. turn off retain history on the streaming dataset

4. turn on retain history, error appears and reverts the old table name.

Thanks,

Tim

Hi @itelligent-i,

I don't have Azure subscription to test this scenario on my side, I would suggest you create a support ticket to get support.
