Did you check the value in STAGING(1) ? From the error message , it seems that the error is caused by the presence of null values .

I understand the error message is indicating there is a NULL value.

But I have no idea where the issue is.

 

I've followed the prompts to connect to Snowflake so I've filled out all the required info/parameters.

The error message is not very informative.

I'm getting this exact same error when I try to connect to Snowflake from Power BI Desktop of Power BI Service (via a new Dataflow).  Did you get the connection working?

Hi @DarinSpence,

 

Yes the issue was that my snowflake database name contained a hyphen "-" and Power BI doesn't like that.

 

Bad database name: "SAMPLE-DB"

Good database name: "SAMPLE_DB"

 

Simply removing any hyphens fixed the issue.

 

Hopefully this solves your issue too.
