Slicer dropdown issue with live ssas connection

Hi,

I have an issue since few days, I'm not sure but maybe it's since I updated Power BI Desktop from May version to June version.

The issue doesn't appear in the PowerBI Desktop, only online.

I have a standard slicer, displayed by dropdown with search.

When I select one, it works, but as soon as I do another click in the report, the dropdown display "all", even if the selected value is still active.

I tried to do the same thing at another customer which have same kind of reports on an SSAS live connection, it doesn't appears.

I tried to change lots of parameters, but the issue is still there.

I also tried to enable beta filtering feature it doesn't change anything.

I tried to make a new report just to test this slicer issue.

I could do a video but with screens, this is what happen :

step1#Step1 : empty slicer

#Step2 : I select a value

#Step3 : I do anything in the report, there I just clean another slicer.

#Step4 : As soon as I do another thing in the report, the slicer display "all"

But the others visuals are still filtered by the value selected in the slicer.

#Step5 : If I click on the slicer, I can see the selected value.

There is one situation where there is no issue, it's when the slicer contain only 2 values.

When I select one, it keeps it.

I really don't know what I can do, thanks in advance for your help.

If you need any other information (remote access, video, etc..) do not hesitate.

Best regards,

Matthieu

EDIT : I tried on Firefox, Chrome, IE and Edge. Same.

Hi @Anonymous,

I tested on my side but not able to reproduce the issue. As the report use a live connection to SSAS, I would suggest you create a support ticket to let engineers look into the issue on your side.
