Sign-In Window does not launch properly when trying to sign into Organizational Account

The window appears to be available but is not accessible i.e. it won't maximize
this has been happening isince October update, and colleagues are reporting the same issue

@v-robertq-msft and @Anonymous  we have discovered the cause of this issue. It is to do with a group policy that our company sets on our machines for syncing Edge to our work accounts.

Setting the following key to the value specified fixed this authentication window problem:

Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Edge

 

BrowserSignIn = DWORD 1

According to my research,a similar issue has been reported internally, so stay tuned. ICM: 269038329

Hi All,

According to the latest update in the ICM, we suggest the customers to test Sept version PBI desktop and see if the issue could be mitigated. This can be a temporary workaround for this issue.

I see this is from 2y ago, but I can say that I have the same problem now in 2023. Even when is up to date and installed from MS Store the issue persist.

 

Any tips nowadays? I will try the regedit also, but interesting to see same issue on newer version
