SAP BW 2.0: Gateway connection properties

Hi,

Currently the screen below doesn't have the option to select "Skip Test Connection" option when connecting through "Personal Gateway". 

As per this thread, currently PowerBI.com cannot establish a connection to on-premises SAP BW connection if the "langauge" option is mandatory. The thread suggests that by using the "Skip Test Connection" feature, it is possible to have this connection. 

This is possbile through Enterprise Gateway but not through Personal Gateway

Hi @Anonymous, 

As you know, the personal mode gateway doesn't support skip test connection feature currently. In your scenario, you need to install on-premises data gateway instead. For your requirement, you can also post a idea here.
