Row Level Security in Power BI Not working for new workspaces

I have implemented row level secruity in PBI Desktop and assigned roles successfully in Power BI Service in old workspaces. However, when I attempt to do the exact same procedure for the exact same report and people, but in a NEW workspace (in preview), row level security does not work. I am assuming that this is because you cannot determine if users can only view (and not edit) reports. 

Has anyone else had this issue?

Currently, RLS is not supported in new workspace, switch to use the old app workspace if you need to configure RLS. Please check Lorelai's reply in this similar thread to get more details.
