Report Builder parameter search not working without (3) leading spaces

I noticed this while trying to do a parameter search on one of our paginated reports in the server. In our (raw) data, the available values in the parameter do not contain leading (or trailing) spaces.

Example: When searching for the term "ASEAN" (without leading spaces), no items returned:

Same keyword but with 3 leading spaces: "   ASEAN"

I cannot reproduce the issue. Check the data souce again and create a support ticket for assistance if necessary.

I was recently able to find a solution to this. In the Parameter Properties > Available Values, instead of using ParameterCaptionIndented as the Label field, you need to select ParameterValue as the Label field value:

As to why ParameterIndentedValue is the default selection in this property, I would not know. I think it would be better to just have ParameterValue as the default selection instead.
