Rendered event not fired with set filters

Something changed and from last one week, we are missing out on 'rendered' event from power bi embed.

Here is what we do.

•  We let the report (has only one page and one visual) render with default filters and on 'rendered' event, we remove all those default filters and setFilters again with customer values from users.
• This then trigges another 'rendered' event, once report is rendered with new filter values.

However from around 1 week, we are missing out on the second rendered event. It only gets triggered some times. I looked at couple of similar issues recently reported,  missing out on rendered event, didn't see if its fixed or not. I can't find it in 

Awareness in https://powerbi.microsoft.com/en-us/support/ 

I tried everything that I could.  Please advice as soon as possible, its affecting badly for one of our major clients.
